FOLLOW IT!
[Line Follower]

The objective of this contest is for a robot to follow a black line on a white background, without losing the line, and navigating several turns. The robot, to complete the course in the shortest period of time while accurately tracking the black line from start to finish wins.

Dimensions

• Width, Length & Height: Not more than 30cm

• Maximum weight should not exceed 5kg

Rules for the Contest

• A team can have a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 participants

• The robot has to move fully autonomously during the drive

• For each touch up 10 seconds will be added with the completing time

• The track width is 2.5 to 3 cm

• Robot will start from the “START” point and stops at “STOP” point

• Contestants are not allowed to touch the robot after starting

• Every Contestant will get two chances to run the robot. Maximum score out of two runs will be considered for evaluation

• Points earned by robot are based on the time taken to complete the maze

• Modification of the control strategy of the robot is not permitted at any time once the robot has entered the competition

• Judges decision will be final and obligatory for all contestants
